When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, the Bible tells us that the Holy Spirit makes His home inside of you. That’s the same Spirit, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. That resurrection power can bring back health, strength and life to your physical body and life to your hopes and dreams. In fact, it can bring life to any area that may seem dormant on the inside of you.
The next time you feel overwhelmed by sickness, challenges or despair, remember, the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you. You may have been burdened by an addiction, fear or worry, but there’s nothing that can stand against the power of God. Rise up and declare by faith, “He whom the Son sets free is free indeed. I am restored and healed in the name of Jesus!” As you rise up in faith and declare the Word of God, you are activating His power within you—the same power that raised Jesus from the dead!

I’ve never heard such beautiful truth in one week before.

God is not after our success in ministry; He’s after our hearts - He wants us (Tripp). He wants us to forget ourselves and let Him take over (Guthrie). The hardships we face are simply tools of His grace to lead us back into the rest of His grace (Tripp). He is our Shepherd, who died and rose again to achieve us Rest and Home in Himself (Chan). Jesus didn’t just save me - He keeps me. I’m in His arms. I am God’s dearly beloved, eternally precious because of the work of Jesus (Chapell). And so He’s called us to “go,” to share this ridiculous truth, promising the presence of Jesus as we walk in faith sharing His gospel to make disciples who make disciples (Chan). And when we step into glory, we won’t say, ‘If i’d known it would have been like this, I would have invested more in it” (Lennox).

bring on day 3 and 4.

Father, thank You for empowering me by Your Holy Spirit. Thank You for giving me new life. I declare today that no weapon formed against me shall prosper as I daily put You first place in everything that I do in Jesus’ name. Amen.

— When I rise, give me Jesus. // Some days are good and some are bad, but the bad days shouldn’t be left as a bad day. Start with God and focus on Him instead of the circumstance of that day. I learned that yesterday since it wasn’t a good day.

• “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. {Galatians 2:20} // #31daysofscripture #lampandlight #shereadstruth #galatians
